The Holiday Season...

Well it's that time of year again...the holiday season! I'm so lucky to get to spend it with Joe - he is so good to me :) We put up the Christmas tree this past weekend and put up the Christmas lights outside...we had so much fun!

Our sweet pups!

We also saw our new nephew, Nicolas Cross - yep, Joe's little brother Jimmy had a baby...well his fiance', Bonnie had the baby ;) You know what I mean! Here are some pics...he is sooo cute!

Health Update

Please say a prayer for me....I went to the neurologist for my migraines and dizzy spells and I have to do a daytime and night time sleep study, MRI, EEG, and bloodwork. I really like this Dr. though! Sounds like he really gets me! Finally! He raised my dose for preventing migraines and it is helping so it seems like he might know what he is doing! As for the hormone and vitamin stuff...I am now taking Vitamin B shots since my body wasn't absorbing the vitamins correctly (they still don't know why) Pray that these will work! I took my first one today! I will gladly take shots if they will make me feel better and give me more energy! Also, I have to go back to the hormone Dr. - still having trouble with my hormones - UGH! Please pray for the doctors to have wisdom and get this stuff figured out! Poor Joe - he has been dealing with a fiance' who has been pms'ing for 20 days!!! I don't think he (or I) can take it anymore!!

School Update

School is going great! I love working at Blanton! I work with the most amazing staff...they are so positive! Work is so much fun...I love going everyday :) The kids are great...I definitely love working with the little ones! It is such a joy! Pet Partners is going fantastic...the kids love having Brinkley and Bailey at School. Mack has been training and getting ready as well...he will take his test in December then he will be ready to come to school too! The kids ask me every day - when does Mack get to come school again? So I know they are just as excited as I am! I have a group of 5th grade boys working with him to get him ready and he is SO good with them and vice versa! Check out my school website at www.dentonisd.org/tdoss to find out more about my programs at school :)
Some of you probably remember that I was accepted into TCU to finish my classes for LPC certification this past January. I just need 3 more classes before I can take my test. Well I've contacted my advisor at TCU this week and I'm going to meet with her next week about starting classes again this spring and hopefully finish them in the summer. Let's just hope that they offer them when I need them! I'm really excited about that...honestly, I love going to school and learning :) Also, having my LPC will help me in case I ever want to go into private practice.

Joe and I hope you all have a Happy Thanksgiving!

Love,
Tiffany

Dog Days of Summer

The dogs are having a lot of fun this summer despite the hot weather! Melissa kept our pups while I went to visit Joe in Atlanta. She has 3 little bitty dogs! They all got along great. She said Brinkley loved the new little puppy, Lucy, and would run to her kennel and paw at it for Melissa to let her out! Melissa didn't want Brinkley to go home! Here is a pic of Brinkley, Mack, and little Lucy (look hard - you can barely see her, below Mack).

We also kept Audrey and Zach's pug - Chompers while they went to Jamaica. Here are some pics to show how much fun the dogs had at "summer camp"

Trip to Atlanta!

The one vacation I had this summer was a free trip to Atlanta! Joe's company (Freeman Audio-Visual) did a big show for Microsoft in Atlanta in July so I went to visit. Microsoft closed down Six Flags over GA for Microsoft employees and some Freeman empyloyees so we had a blast! They had a concert with Pink and Daughtry at Six Flags that night and all the rides were open just for us! We had a great time riding some pretty awesome roller coasters...I've included some pictures....There is one called the Superman and you sit in it then it lifts you back so when you ride, you are seated with your legs back your your arms forward...like you are flying! It was scary at first but then actually really fun! I will try to add to a video! Enjoy the pics! :)

4th of July Weekend

Joe and I had a lot of fun with friends and family during the 4th of July weekend. We went to Shreveport for the holiday....My dad grilled out and we had friends and family come in town to visit! Most of my bridesmaids and I went to Hers Bridal in Minden, LA and ordered the bridesmaid dresses for the wedding. We had a ton of fun riding over there in my dad's limo.

Blockbuster even tried to figure out which actress Melissa was when the limo took her there to get her candy fix...lol! Also that weekend, my nephew Brayden and his little league team won the state championship! They will be heading to the Little League World Series this weekend in Texarkana. It was a great weekend! :)

Happily Engaged

Welcome to our blog! Joe and I became engaged Mother's Day weekend during a romantic getaway to Galveston, TX. He took me on a horse-drawn carriage ride at sunset and proposed after the ride ended...of course, I said YES! We will be getting married at First United Methodist Church in Shreveport, LA at 5:00 in the evening on Saturday, March 14, 2009. Right now, we are enjoying our time together as an engaged couple :) Wedding plans are pretty much done and we have started our pre-marital counseling at The Met Church where we attend church. It is really opening our eyes! Together, we have 3 adorable pups! Brinkley (Bichon Frise), Bailey (Malti-Poo), and Mack (Golden-doodle). All boys! Brinkley and Bailey are certified through a program called Pet Partners with a national organization, Delta Society and can visit hospitals, nursing homes, and schools. (Mack will take the test after he turns a year old) They will be coming to school with me this upcoming year at my new school, Blanton Elementary School, in Argyle, TX. I'm very excited about what this upcoming year holds! New job and soon to be new hubby! Life is good! :)
